Autumn is aglow with color. There is color left over from summer, and then come the flowers and vines that only bloom in Fall. They twine and twist around each other, and this is what happens in my yard near the creek. You will find some photos in the gallery that I took of the wild assortment of autumn plants that I love – poke and ironweed to name a few. This painting’s movement and color were informed by what I see on the creek bank every year.
